ALMA RINALDELLI

ISTITUTO MODARTECH

Alma Rinaldelli was born in April 1995 near Florence from a French mother.
Since very young, she dedicated herself to dance and was fascinated by the costumes and sets of the shows in which she took part.
That is the reason why she starts to draw and to design clothes, to which she also likes to add details borrowed from the countries visited during her many travels.
Her social commitment, with particular attention to humanitarian and ecological issues, is reflected in her garments.

The “Land of All” is the name of the sketch dedicated to YKK.
It takes inspiration from humanitarian and ecological issues, elements that deeply influence all the collections of the designer.
The outfit presents indeed elements that refer to the tragedy of migrants in the Mediterranean Sea, such as lifejackets and emergency isothermal blankets.
The garment is also inspired by ethnic forms which have been revisited and updated by the addition of technical details and by using innovative combinations of materials.
Finally, the zippers make the dress transformable and performant.
