Bio:

My name is Elisabeth Virginia Sentosa, born in Jakarta, Indonesia, in 2005. I studied Fashion Design and Accessories at Istituto Marangoni Milano. Inspired by psychology, emotions, reality and imagination, I explore silhouettes, materials and movement to express intangible ideas through fashion.

Concept:

Fading Echoes of Us began with a simple thought: imaginary friends only exist for a certain period of time. And then, quietly, they disappear. Inspired by Robert Frost’s poem Nothing Gold Can Stay, the collection sees the imaginary friend as a metaphor for this idea—that the most precious states of being are temporary. The collection follows the imaginary friend’s memories of the wearer through childhood adventures, comfort, loneliness, and the gradual distance of growing up, expressed through intimate diary fragments hidden between the skirt’s pleats. Reimagined through bright colours, exaggerated silhouettes, and textile manipulation, the garments explore how an imaginary friend does not truly disappear, but transforms into a memory and an internal part of who we become.
