Azar Rajabi

Azar Rajabi's narrative is defined by her exploration of what it means to be human. Drawing inspiration from emotions and their impact, she takes an aggressive conceptual approach that endeavours to translate emotion into fashion and wearable art. Azar Rajabi is a Canadian fashion designer who trained in Milan with her MA in Fashion Design from Domus Academy. Her collection Seeking Equilibrium was featured in Vogue Italia and chosen as a finalist at Milano Moda Graduate 2016. Also featured in Vogue Talents, Azar Rajabi has interned in Milan and New York City at luxury houses Damir Doma, Hogan, Casamadre, and Prabal Gurung. Her most recent collaboration was with Nike and NikeLab, being labelled a "Vision-AIR" and innovator of tomorrow. The collaboration was dedicated to designing a costume inspired by the new VaporMax trainer for the worldwide campaign. Now based in Montreal, Canada, she works as a full time womenswear designer, artist, and design consultant. Her works have been featured on several fashion channels such as Harpers Bazaar, WMag, Vogue, WWD, CNN, and the New York Times.
