ACBC

Edoardo Iannuzzi. is a designer whose creativity is driven by the principles of sustainability and responsibility. He loves sneakers, inevitably. For this reason, his design focus has always been on footwear and its contemporary, modular, low environmental impact evolution.

His first patent is a closure for travel shoes which he has evolved and perfected in to the ACBC brand, of which he is creative director and co-founder.

Born in Rome 32 years ago, his design experience began in Milan, where he graduated in Industrial Design at the Polytechnic, and where he began his career in the Denis Santachiara studio. In New York he was an intern for Karim Rashid, and a consultant for Mandarina Duck in Korea, of the K-Leonelin group in China. Today he is back in Milan, where he has a home, two daughters and ACBC.

Giò Giacobbe has worked for Basf, Acer, Tommy Hilfiger, and Peuterey. From Lugano, to Berlin, to Shanghai. Born in Sanremo, on the Ligurian Riviera, at less than 30 years old he became general manager of the branches of China, Hong Kong and Japan for the Italian luxury brand Trussardi. He returned to Milan to found ACBC, of which he is CEO, and to be a father.

150 flights in 10 months, all over Asia, convinced Giò that shoes are a central theme in the journey: space in the suitcase, comfort, modularity are indispensable features, and not yet developed in a single shoe. The meeting with the designer Edoardo is the spark from which ACBC was born.
