Born in Modena on December 1989, Lamandini graduated as an accountant. His attention was constantly captured by the details that distinguished the financial environment, analyzing the bankers’ uniforms and styles. He was often fantasizing about how to revolutionize and re-interpret in an ironic and modern key their classical and traditional style, always too rigid and strict. Because of that, he decided to attend the Accademia Europea di Bologna and the Istituto Marangoni, where he specialized in fashion design. Once he graduated, he did first an internship at MSGM as menswear designer assistant, and then he had the opportunity to join MARNI menswear style/product department office. While at MARNI, he decided to enroll into the contest Designer for Tomorrow, which he won in 2014. This competition allowed him to start his own project, produce his first collection (SS16) and to make a capsule collection for the designer Tommy Hilfiger.
