MILANO MODA GRADUATE 2019: THE FINALISTS

Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana announces finalists who will compete for the CNMI Award of the 5th edition of Milano Moda Graduate. Moreover, this year YKK- Main Partner of the event for the second time in a row – will have a special category with a dedicated prize.


The project – intended for supporting new talents – will culminate with a fashion show on 14th of June, during Milano Moda Uomo. Some workshops and mentoring paths will be held for the selected students about crucial aspects of fashion industry, like the textile supply chain – thanks to Italian companies like Albini, Ratti, Taroni and Limona, and the strategies of digital communication with Instagram. Morover, even this year Anna dello Russo will meet the young talents to help them to reach their potential.
Finalists for the CNMI award for Fashion Design are Alessia Scasserra (IED Milano), Francesco Murano (IED Milano), Agnese Balsamini (Accademia Costume & Moda), Ottavia Molinari (Istituto Marangoni); Pietro Fadda (Istituto Marangoni), Eleonora Giussani (NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), Chiara De Nigris (NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), Enrico Vettorazzo (Università IUAV di Venezia).


The eleven designers chosen among all the candidates for creating a special outfit for a dedicated fashion show to YKK are Domenico Del Gais (IED Milano), Livia Viola (Accademia Costume & Moda), Lorenzo Seghezzi (NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), Xhuljano Malaj (NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), John Lloyd Palomares (NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti), Luigi Chierchia (Università degli Studi della Campania Luigi Vanvitelli) , Sofia Agnoletti (Istituto Secoli), Liu Yingyan (Accademia del Lusso), Alma Rinaldelli (Istituto Modartech), Jessica Di Lupo (Istituto Modartech), Cinzia Cerri (Istituto Modartech).


At the end of the event, YKK will award the winning designer with 5000€ to invest in education and a travel to Japan.
