Fashion Hub

For this edition of Milano Fashion Week® Women's Collection, Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana is inaugurating the Fashion Hub, that will be hosted for the first time at Palazzo Morando. After the opening event on Tuesday 24 February the Fashion Hub will be open to the public. From Wednesday 25 to Friday 27, it will be open from 11 am to 8 pm, while on Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1 March it will be open from 10 am to 7 pm.

The Fashion Hub is a meeting place and a breeding ground for innovative projects and has been made possible thanks to the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Italian Trade Agency.  The Fashion Hub hosts initiatives and activities designed to promote the new generation of designers by enabling them to come into contact with key players in the international fashion industry.  The Hub’s activities and projects reflect CNMI’s basic values, including experimentation, innovation, crafts, sustainability, inclusion and training.

This edition will see the Fashion Hub host the following projects: Future Threads: Italy’s New Wave and New Gen, New Ethos –curated by Sara Sozzani Maino, CNMI International New Talent and Brands Ambassador – and a site-specific installation by the artist Sara Leghissa entitled ‘NOT FOR FREE’, which invites reflection on the themes of female empowerment and social responsibility.

The Fashion Hub will also be offering a VIP Lounge fitted out by Molteni&C., a longstanding leader in Made in Italy furnishing design. The lounge will feature a selection of Molteni&C indoor and outdoor collections.

The VIP Lounge will also provide a catering service enabling guests to toast with Franciacorta, Official Wine Partner, and enjoy a break with Acqua Fiuggi, Official Water Partner.
