Designers For The Planet involves eight brands that base the creation and production of their collections on sustainability principles. The designers participating In the project were selected by a technical panel chaired by Carlo CapasaChairman Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, and made up of Michela GioacchiniHead of Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility Tod’s GroupMina PiccininiChief Marketing & Corporate Strategy Officer MonclerRina TollioCreatives Talent Acquisition OTBSamantha DaraSenior Director Talent Acquisition Versace and Fabrizio ComettoVP HR EMEA Versace. The eight brands selected for this edition are: 0331-UPDATEDĀIM/ handmade in Italy, DEFAÏENCE, ElielsEscvdoGams NotePiferi and Via Piave 33.

A GLOBAL MOVEMENT TO UPLIFT UNDERREPRESENTED BRANDS

A Global Movement To Uplift Underrepresented Brands is a project of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and curated by Teneisha Carr, editor-in-chief of Blanc Magazine. This collaboration aims to promote multiculturalism in the fashion industry by giving underrepresented designers visibility and business opportunities and fostering a culture based on appreciation of talent and inclusion. The designers chosen for this edition of the project are anOnlyChild, BruceGlen and SABIRAH.
