VERSACE - GLAM BOXEUR

The Versace catwalk resembles an old arena, the models are the modern gladiators who wear boxing belts probably engraved by an Hephaestus god of the made in Italy. He walks  into a scene as an   unrivaled champion of sex appeal, who is not ashamed to show his attractiveness and flaunts it in every  look, even in the suit worn with a wide tie or in the sleeveless jacket which almost becomes a vest and highlights his biceps. The silk robe, light, thin, fluttering, becomes overcoat, the fighting shorts a bermuda for day or evening, the entire historical and famous iconography of the Maison is present: the Greek key design, the optical motifs, the floral prints, the jewelry (like the rapper necklaces) and the gold details, the Medusa, the shirt collars with metal tips, pastel colors and the glossy effect of some fabrics. A mix of time and cultural references: the world of classical, rock, rap, the archives of the '90s and the rebellious spirit of a man who does not accept minimalism and loves to flaunt his strength on his high sneakers, as if at any time he wanted to continue his workouts and take a run into the city.
