Many people wonder how blogging, that is often the expression of a personal hobby, could become a real job, what was your path?

I decided to start blogging about fashion after a long experience in personal blogs, the ones where you are wrote about yourself, a far cry from the todays' dynamics. I did it because I always loved to write, my sister that in those years began writing online and inspired me, the idea of having a personal space in which to do information my way excited me. So I began, by also involving some friends, which slowly found their own paths while I found my way by chance.

Along with your sister you have created the free press ”Spray Magazine", in what do bloggers differ from journalists? In what way are they similar?

"Spray Magazine" was created with the intention to unite blogs and traditional media, bloggers and journalists who work with us share the knowledge that communication has taken a new road which inevitably goes through the web. In general, the blogger is different from the traditional journalist, intended as a collaborator of "old style" newspapers, for the immediacy of communication, for the independence of his thoughts and the ability to write in first person. Specifically, we say that very often some of these factors are also lacking in the work of bloggers, I refer particularly to the objectivity that when you start working with the brands,  I notice that it is often affected, the blog becomes depersonalized and loses his identity, something from which I shrink forever. Valentina and I wanted to create a product that would develop between the web and print media, always trying to highlight the potential of those who populate the Internet and the outcome is always exciting.

Direct contact with readers allows you to capture if and how they've changed their purchases in this period of crisis, do you think that eventually this phase will reward the quality of products rather than quantity?

I don't believe so, as a matter of fact I increasingly notice that the classic "€ 19.90" low cost chains disastrously tickles your shopping desires, resulting in the conviction that you save while you end up spending double, filling the closet with disposable garments. If at every change of season we stop to observe the amount of new clothes purchased and assess their status at the end of the season, we would learn that the low cost has a price, and it makes us give up on quality.

You are a great social network addicted, which one do you prefer? Do you think these new platforms are more useful to young designers to get to know or to big brands to strengthen their image among consumers?

Facebook is definitely the one I use most, I think for the big brands it represents an essential part of corporate identity, while for the young designers is an excellent launch pad and a surprising showcase. The strength of the young artists? The fact that they handle personally their own profiles and fan pages, so they have a more direct relationship with users.

How do you do search for new talents to talk about in your blog? What strikes you about them?

I surf a lot on the social networks, Instagram along with Twitter is among those that allow me to track down more often not well-known brands or young artists.Usually I am stricken by the photos and the attention to details, if a young designer creates a good look book and chooses attractive graphics for his blog / site, he has already figured out that this area works and, if the collection he proposes is of quality, I will very happily support him.
