EXCESS BY VERSACE: MALE OPULENCE

Excessive and insolent is Versace’s man for next winter. Various identities and different styles, united by one common denominator: shimmering. It begins by showing a series of classics, almost formal. Double breasted suits or jackets with  two gold enameled buttons depicting the medusa. From strong light cool wool pinstripes, blue on gray, Oxford shirts with wide neck and ties of Neapolitan tailoring we go with nonchalance to a total blue and gray denim look but with a not washed effect.

The street style of the construction of  bikers and jeans oversized is made even more "hip-hop couture" by the  interweaving of yellow gold chains. Each denim garment is studded with appliqués, enriched with lucky charms and woven together to create  geometric patterns. They are applied on hats, shoulders, even with thinner trimming effect. The denim is colored in the bomber jackets with mink fluorescent collars and the back with a Gianni Versace print.

Like a disco remix, without realizing it we went directly to a colorful marines style. Not  missing gold, berets and platelets on the neck, but in this case the main theme is a very original print: camouflage with flowers. The same theme is also present on furs, on  bomber and hunting jackets. We go to the evening and close with a leitmotif where the only color is black: in leather, with chains, on embroidered transparencies, coated with glitter and crystals. "Excess", mission accomplished.
