TRUSSARDI AND HIS DANDY PILOT

TRUSSARDI AND HIS DANDY PILOT

With a recall to the late 70s and with a palette of colors of a "Middle East taste", the collection signed for by Umit Benan for Trussardi surprises for the very brave choice.

The inspiration is that of the pilot-star, who is celebrating after winning a race  at the track. A dandy brash, not afraid to show off. Magnum of champagne in hand, wears colored turtleneck under unbuttoned shirts, fur collars, teardrop shaped eyeglasses with black frames and yellow lens, oversized caps and driver gloves in perforated leather. Very beautiful the maxi leather handbags with zip double bottom.

The pants are flared, colored or squared and the combined sweaters develop to geometric designs. Tobacco, dull yellow, beige, royal blue, brown and red geranium are enhanced on the scene that shows the bleachers packed with people watching an automobile race. Benan has taken the family well known passion for auto racing and has brought it on the  catwalk with a stylistic code that looks to the past. Away from the ancestral simplicity of the brand, at Trussardi they are experimenting new ideas and new ways, offering a strong and courageous point of view.
