"THE LOOK NOT LOOK" FROM BOTTEGA VENETA

The cold weather continues to crystallize the mood of Milan, without stopping in any way the people of fashion, which this Sunday morning, according to tradition, met to have “Breakfast at Bottega Veneta.” The creative director Thomas Mayer is known as conceptual designer and he doesn’t contradict himself. The collection develops in black, with inclusions of dark blue, medium gray and brown. For suits jackets and blazers, the trend chosen is that of three buttons with a very clean drop 8 fit. The shirts have two color collars with a French-cut and ties knotted in Windsor style. Not missing is the untreated dark denim. The coats are tight both in the biker models and in the linear cut jackets. Many are the inserts in ton-sur-ton black leather. In the middle of the fashion show, appears like a lightning in the night a biker in shearling metal. Surely out of the context but conceptually correct. The leather stilettos, with a large plant and a slightly squared toe, have an oversized heel like that of the cowboys. Strangely absent were the 24 hour briefcases and the woven leather bags, which have always been the distinctive symbol of the firm.
