Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana (CNMI) is honored to announce the appointment of Constanza Cavalli Etro as Ambassador for Latin America, a role that presents an extraordinary opportunity to strengthen ties between the two continents and create new opportunities for designers, brands, and artisans in both regions.

With her deep understanding of Latin American culture and expertise, Cavalli Etro serves as a key reference point for fostering dialogue between Italy and Latin America. Her appointment will be instrumental in facilitating collaborations, exchanges, and investments, further enhancing the presence of Italian fashion in the region.

At the same time, Cavalli Etro will provide tangible support to Latin American designers and brands, offering them visibility, training, mentorship, and access to CNMI’s prestigious platforms, including Milano Fashion Week® and the Fashion Hub. This initiative will foster a dynamic cultural and professional exchange, creating a bridge between the two fashion landscapes. Constanza’s role will be crucial in promoting ethical and sustainable partnerships, strengthening collaborations between Italian brands and local artisans, in line with CNMI’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and inclusion within the fashion industry.

Constanza Cavalli Etro, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and now living in Milan, is also the President, Creative Director and Co-Founder of the Latin American Fashion Awards, Founder and Director of the Fashion Film Festival Milano, a member of the Advisory Board of Camera Moda Fashion Trust, and a member of the CFDA Fashion Guild.
