Cnmi, Unicredit and Sistema Moda Italia sign agreement

On Tuesday July 22nd Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, UniCredit and Sistema Moda Italia signed an agreement that initiates a new alliance in support of Made in Italy.

Following the positive results of the project UniCredit International for Fashion, UniCredit has strengthened its special relations with the main players of the fashion system in order to generate cohesion and positive synergies. The goal is to help the 50 thousand companies in the Italian textile/fashion system to increase their sales. The measures provided for by the agreement are substantial and important: wide-spread funding of the supply chains in the territory, strategic support of the more dynamic businesses, boosting of key competences such as creativity, marketing and communication through training, trade-fairs and events.

The President of CNMI Mario Boselli has stressed the strategic relevance of the agreement: “More exports mean more work, more productivity, hence higher wages and greater consumption. For the companies it means investing in the expansion of production. The important agreement we have signed today heads in this direction”

His words are echoed by those of Jane Reeve, CEO of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana: “This strategic alliance offers an important opportunity especially to small and medium sized companies as well as to new entrepreneurs and is part and parcel of my objective of giving a substantial and tangible help to the fashion industry.  The recent launching of the Talent Advisory Board, on which also UniCredit sits, is part of this priority project of business acceleration”.
