DHL Exported: Francesca Liberatore is the Italian winner

Francesca Liberatore is the Italian winner of the DHL Exported contest, the project conceived by IMG Fashion and DHL to support young fashion talents and promote them internationally. Her collection will be shown for two consecutive seasons at New York Fashion Week.

Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, British Fashion Council and Japan Fashion Week Organization have been called to select the 4 winning projects among 150 nominations from 36 countries. The winners will be included in the official calendars of the Milan, Paris, London and New York fashion weeks, will get support for the transportation of the collections, will receive a taylor-made logistic assistance and will be helped in the marketing, media-relation and digital activities. Furthermore, a dedicated e-commerce portal will be set up in order to facilitate the sale of their collections.

First of all, my thanks go to Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana for having always supported my work. I would also like to express my gratitude to DHL for this project that will allow me to grow and become successful on an international market, thanks to a substantial economic investment”, shared the designer Francesca Liberatore.

Jane Reeve, CEO of CNMI, has stressed the importance of the DHL Exported project:  “Actively supporting young people in their business with projects like this, which among other things help eliminate geographic barriers thanks to the great attention given to the opportunities offered by the digital world, is one of the main goals CNMI is set to pursue from now on”.
