Pilati for Agnona for the first time ever

Pilati for Agnona for the first time ever

Great news for the Zegna Group’s women’s brand. After leaving YSL and the release of the Ermenegildo Zegna spring-summer men’s clothing collection last June, Stefano Pilati has now created his “Zero Collection” for Agnona.

His collection presented in the pop up store in Via Sant'Andrea 11 in Milan goes beyond the heritage of this brand founded in 1953: structured and asymmetrical silhouettes, delicate floral and geometric patterns and embroidered knitwear bodies and dresses.  To bear witness to his project focusing on breaking away from usual seasonality, Pilati has used “season less” materials. He chose double cashmere and kid mohair also to interpret the "Palaka": a check pattern inspired by Japanese materials that were imported to Hawaii in the Fifties to make shirts and shorts for surfers. There is also a new item for travelling: a waterproof silk trench coat which has a removable collar scarf.
