CHICCA LUALDI BEEQUEEN, BETWEEN ROTHKO AND MAGISTRETTI

Two specific references of contemporary aesthetics influenced Chicca Lualdi for fall/winter 2013-2014. On the one hand the clean and minimal lines borrowed by Milan’s architect Vico Magistretti, who gave the garments an elegance typical of the ‘60s (also a  hood appears at the end), on  the other the colors of the collection stolen from the palette of the American painter Rothko. A cultural contamination between the old and the new world that creates a very contemporary result, thanks also to the effect of fine fabrics that enhance the vibrant hues of copper, gold and cobalt blue.
