Renzo Rosso

Renzo Rosso is the Founder and Chairman of OTB, the international fashion and luxury group powering a range of global, unconventional brands, including Diesel, Jil Sander, Maison Margiela, Marni and Viktor&Rolf. The group also controls the Staff International and Brave Kid companies and holds a minority investment in L.A. brand Amiri.

In 1978, Mr. Rosso founded the Diesel brand, making it a hit first in the USA and then in other European countries as well as all over the world, until it became the global fashion icon known today.

Mr. Rosso’s brave and unapologetic spirit has been leading him towards the creation of an international fashion and luxury group: in 2002, he founded “Only The Brave” (OTB), which he leads with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation.

With the same approach, he established Red Circle, his private investment company, which financially supports innovation-driven businesses, such as tech, med-tech and food-tech companies, as well as invests in the real estate sector.

In 2008, Renzo Rosso’s focus on the value of giving back to society drove him to found OTB Foundation, the non-profit organization of OTB Group. Since its creation, the Foundation has been carrying out more than 300 projects of significant social value all over the world, impacting on the lives of over 300,000 people.

Renzo Rosso is a member of the Steering Committee for the National Chamber of Italian Fashion and in April 2021, Confindustria named him as Delegate of the Association for Excellence, Beauty, and Taste of Italian Brands.
