FLAVIA LA ROCCA

Born in 1985 in Rome, Flavia La Rocca is the founder and designer of the brand that bears her name, flavialarocca.

After a degree in "Fashion and Costume Sciences" at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome, in 2007 she moved to Milan where she began her career in the press offices of Blumarine, Valentino, Vivienne Westwood and Prada.

Experience, knowledge and a strong passion led Flavia to start working on her brand at the end of 2011. The idea of ​​modular clothes and sustainability are the foundations on which the brand is built, to be a responsible, ethical and modern company.

Flavia La Rocca has brought her vision of sustainability to fashion weeks in London, Milan, Paris and Shanghai and has several presences at important exhibitions and events. flavialarocca has participated in the Denim Challenge during the Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2016, the exhibition within the "Crafting the Future" exhibition and "The New Vocabulary of Italian Fashion" at Mudec and Triennale in Milan respectively. To date, a modular look is exhibited at the "Sustainable Thinking" exhibition at the Ferragamo museum in Florence.

 

The brand has already attracted the attention of international press and celebrities. From the Telegraph UK who selected flavialarocca in 2014 as one of the 8 "Brands to Watch", to Vogue Italia which included it in its Talents and with which it has participated in various initiatives. Celebrities such as Amber Valletta and Milla Jovovich have worn flavialarocca garments.
