Francesco Maria De Angelis

“The synthesis of the greatest oppositions” is how Wassily Kandinsky defined the geometrical form of the circle, in which he recognized stability and instability, and I can think of no better way to describe myself. I’m Francesco, but I prefer to be called Ka, a strong and fragile human being who through fashion, understood as a form of artistic expression, speaks to the world about himself and the society in which he lives.

The resulting creations are experimental, analytical, powerful, in continual evolution, connecting with the other arts and with human reality. They’re in deep interrelation with the body via the sensations it receives on wearing them, through the materials used, the cuts and volumes that hug, wrap, mask and amplify.
