DHL Exported Cycle 2: the winners

DHL, a sponsor of CNMI, and IMG have announced the winners of the DHL Exported Cycle 2 competition: Marcel Ostertag, Sid Neigum, Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida, and Atsushi Nakashima will be able to present their Autumn/Winter 2016-17 and Spring/Summer 2017 collections on the runways of the most prestigious fashion weeks, an important opportunity to develop their business and brands.

Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana has once again supported this major initiative, whose first edition achieved some important results: e-commerce sales up by as much as 400%, sales up by 50% and a considerable widening of the brands’ international visibility.

Japanese Atsushi Nakashima will be exhibiting at Milano Moda Donna. A graduate from Nagoya Fashion College (2001), Atsushi Nakashima won the 20th Onward Fashion Grand Prix (now known as the Tokyo New Designer Fashion Grand Prix). This success at an internationally renowned competition enabled the designer to become assistant to Jean Paul Gaultier. In 2009 she was made head designer for one of the brand’s second lines but only two years later she returned to Tokyo to found her own brand.
