The Aeffe group announced the appointment of Lorenzo Serafini as creative director of the Philosophy brand.

Following the appointment of Fausto Puglisi as creative director of Ungaro, the group relies once again on Italian creativity. After taking his degree at Naba – Nuova accademia delle belle arti of Milan, Serafini completed his training at a number of leading fashion houses: he led Roberto Cavalli’s womenswear, worked as creative director at D&G and later on as creative director of Dolce&Gabbana women’s collections. “Philosophy is a positive word having many profound and stimulating meanings. I am glad to have the opportunity of turning it into a new fashion story through my own aesthetics”, shared the fashion designer.

A new story that will begin with the fall/winter 2015/2016 pre-collection and have Philosophy back again on the Milan catwalks. Lorenzo Serafini’s debut will actually be one of the most awaited for novelties of the next edition of Milano Moda Donna, scheduled from February 25th to March 3rd 2015.

“This appointment consolidates the creative reorganization of all brands, which has been going on for many seasons and is successfully projecting the group towards the future”, explains Massimo Ferretti, president of the Aeffe group that manages the production and distribution of brands such as Alberta Ferretti, Moschino, Pollini, Emanuel Ungaro and Cédric Charlier.
