Moschino hosts the "Vuoto" (Vacuum) exhibition

Celebrations for Moschino’s 30th anniversary continue with the “Vuoto" exhibition at their flagship store in via Del Babuino in Rome.

It is a collection of 16 paintings by their eclectic creator Franco Moschino, originally designed as illustrations for their 1989/90 autumn/winter advertising campaign and only shown to the public at the monumental show "X years of Kaos! 1983-1993". Surrealist irony, social satire, moral questions and many iconic themes of the Moschino world, from hearts to teddy bears are revived in the works where the frames and the paintings permeate each other. "Cuore di lana" (Heart of Wool), "Ceci N'est Pas Une Cravate" (This is Not a Tie) and “Il cielo in una scarpa" (The Sky in a Shoe) are just some of the original titles.

The exhibition, open from 6 December 2013 to 31 January 2014, is being held in the beautiful store which was recently renovated by Michele De Lucchi.
