Modelle & Rotelle sfila a Milano

The last October 3, at the Pavilion UniCredit in Piazza Gae Aulenti, there was an innovative fashion show: to shine in the spotlight there weren’t just girls with seductive walk, but models wheelchair.

Modelle & Rotelle is a festival that celebrates the desire to do, to live, in spite of the difficulties: in this context also the wheelchair turns getting a beautiful design object like a haute couture dress, an irreverent tool to tell something about themselves. How? Thanks to the flexibility that allows to modulate certain features of the wheelchair to the personality of those sitting on this: FIXED, designed by Danilo Aragon and built by Able to Enjoy, is superlight, incredibly innovative and absolutely fashion.

For all these reasons the project is strongly supported by the City of Milan, Regione Lombardia and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, and in particular for the irreverence of the event that pushes for change.

The evening's proceeds were donated to the laboratories of the Niguarda Ca 'Granda Hospital and San Paolo to support research in the field of regeneration of damage to the spinal cord through nanotechnology and the use of stem cells.
