Next Generation is an initiative promoted by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Milan and Lectra. The Project is dedicated to young designers who haven't turned 30 y.o. and it's aimed to search a new generation of designesr for the future development of the Made in Italy.
To the winners it is offered the opportunity to have the collections produced by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and to present it during Milano Moda Donna, world's most prestigious fashion week.
Among 120 applications, a selected Commission formed by Susanna Avesani - Italian Representative for Club 21, Gian Pietro Baudo - Editori in Chief of MF Fashion, Vanda Bernasconi - Italian Representative for Neiman Marcus, Fabiana Giacomotti - Journalist, Caterina Rorro - Marketing & Communication Director Lectra, Christine Ellis - Consultant, Beppe Modenese - Honourary Presidente Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, Anne Marie Paltsou - Italian Representative for Saks Fifth Avenue, Giulia Pirovano - General Manager of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, Danda Santini - Editor in Chief of Elle, Roberta Valentini - Boutique Penelope, Maria Luisa Trussardi - Trussardi selected the four winners: Susanna Cornet, Marco Corso, Francesco Di Giorgi, Francesca Liberatore.
The winning designers showed on February 24 2010 at Milano Moda Donna on the opening day of Milan Fashion Week.
