PRESS RELEASE Milano Moda Donna 19th-26th February 2005 We can expect optimism and creativity from Milano Moda Donna, the eagerly awaited show that is attracting and involving an ever-increasing number of participants from every part of the world. The February 2005 show is preparing to turn the spotlight on autumn-winter collections for 2005/06: 93 shows are scheduled, presented by 90 names. It begins on Saturday 19th February with the catwalk debut of Kristina Ti, followed by the highly anticipated return of Roberta Di Camerino and the launch of N-U-DE, the CNMI project that puts young debutantes and emerging designers in the forefront. A number of international names will be making their debut on Milan's catwalks. The most important of the new arrivals are from Great Britain, with debuts form revitalized historic names such as Pringle of Scotland and Daks. Amuleti J, Belstaff, Malloni and Pierluigi Fucci will also be making their first appearances. Some of those returning to the catwalks include not only Roberta Di Camerino, who is showing on the first day, but also the collection of Giuliana Teso. Over 10 thousand operators are expected to converge in Milan, including more than 1700 journalists, photo reporters and cameramen from all over the world. There are a total of 150 presentations on the CNMI calendar (42 by appointment). Adding to the many fashion shows and presentations, which make Milan the world's undisputed fashion capital, is a program of cultural initiatives and innovative, high impact social events.
