The dates and  schedule of  the new 2004  training courses  have not been defined yet. We are waiting for the new announcements of competition to be published by Regional Authority of Lombardy/European Social Fund . At present we are in the process of designing the next courses.
We are going to plan our next courses according to the indications regarding the professional profiles most needed by the fashion industry which will emerge from a questionnaire we sent to our 200 members. Our courses are free because they are funded by the European Social Fund /Regional Authority of Lombardy.
Our courses have a duration of about 8/10 months, three of which will be spent in an internship with companies, professional practices or press offices belonging to the fashion industry. Attendance is compulsory: from Monday to Friday, 7 hours a day, on the premises of via Santa Marta, 18 - Milan. At the end of the course the participants will be given a certificate of attendance issued by the Regional Authority of Lombardy.
The admission requirements for the courses are a secondary school diploma, a basic knowledge of the English language and IT (not always required) and  the unemployment certificate ( self-certification will be enough). According to the course selected, additional specific skills might be required.
The maximum number of participants admitted to each course is 18/20  and selections will include an interview and /or a short written test (about the English language or the in-depth analysis of various topics according to the course selected). Unfortunately, until the planning of the new courses is completed, we are not able to give further information. Further details will be available in due time at our website.
