He/she is the person who creates the graphics of the collections to be shown to customers, show rooms, etc.. Using the fashion software, this professional will design models and settings, simulate different textiles and colours, preparing catalogues for the collection presentations. He/she will also use CAD to develop sizes from the drawing or prepare the positioning of the paper pattern on the textile (thus reducing scrap). This new professional figure is much sought after by fashion firms or by the agencies dealing with the textile/clothes industry, since he/she is able to conceive, design and create a collection or a multimedia presentation by working on different media.
• CAD JEWEL DESIGNER
Being both a designer and a model maker, this professional can work in both fields. Thanks to specific software packages he/she can design the whole process on a computer from prototype to samples, thus organizing the production according to a highly computerized approach.. He/she must be able to create new collections according to fashion trends, prepare specific collections following the customers’ requests, help presenting the collection in a successful manner. Some of the course subjects: history of jewellery, trends, gemmology, drawing, production processes, CAD, samples design, quality control, packaging etc.
• FASHION BUYER
The fashion buyer is the professional who decides on the purchases for the single shop, chain stores, large-scale distribution, and independently manages his/her daily operations. According to the different needs and requests, through carefully planned meetings and with an eye on the calendar, he/she shall process the inputs received and adjust, change, streamline and economize on the right supply and assortment plan. The fashion buyer must have a deep knowledge of quality/price parameters in order to be able to comply with the store “image” and meet consumers’ expectations. The course analyzes the new processes and services available from the purchase viewpoint. It also focuses on the knowledge of the - tangibile and intangibile - variables distinguishing the “identity” of a brand from the competing brands on the market.

A professional figure playing a central role in the global dimension of a fashion brand. Depending on the suggestions coming from the fashion designer, the marketing and sales departments, he/she will coordinate the image of the company’s "concept", by standardizing everything which is "corporate image", i.e.: from the business card to the product, from the packaging to the point of sale and the show room. This professional must be able to design the concept and have creative skills as well as a deep knowledge of the specific market. He/she shall also possess the ability of managing the project in all its variants as well as a good relational capability, since he/she will be in charge of and connect with the creative team and will also liaise with the different company departments..
