Violante Nessi was born in Bologna in 1990 by Chilean mother and Italian-German father. From 2009 to 2012 she studied Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni in Milan and in 2011 she attended an intensive course at Central Saint Martins College in London. During her studies she began to approach the professional world of fashion working as a Sales Assistant at Marc Jacobs Showroom. In 2012, after finishing her studies, Violante moved to New York where she worked within the design team of Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler and Altuzarra. At the end of 2013, she returned to Europe to become WRTW Design Assistant of Creative Director at the Maison Tom Ford in London. After these experiences and several specialization courses in knitting and embroidery, Violante decided to convey curiosity, entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to express her aesthetic in the creation of her own brand, combining her greatest passions: fashion, art and painting.
