Milano Moda Uomo, the world most important kermes dedicated to men prêt-a-porter, confirms its next edition at the Fashion Hub in Palazzo Giureconsulti, in the heart of Milano, and presents a novelty regarding upcoming stylists.

 

For the first time, on the occasion of men’s fashion shows of Milano Moda Uomo, Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana has decided to open its doors to New Upcoming Designers, with the intent to offer them a significant opportunity for visibility. The group consisting of Chicca Lualdi, Cristiano Burani, Mauro Gasperi, Andres Caballero, Alessia Crea, Francesca Biondi, Elena Leone, Andrea Merlot will present their own capsule collections through a creative path set up in the halls of Palazzo Giureconsulti. Silvio Betterelli will join the group and will participate in the project as guest designer with one new collection.

 

 

The calendar of Milano Moda Uomo June 18th /21st  2011 foresees 70 collections, 39 shows for 38 brands, 24 presentations and 13 presentations on appointment.

 

 

Also for this edition, CNMI has chosen to dedicate space and attention to bloggers and has created - within the fashion hub - a hospitality area reserved to the best know 20 Italian and foreign bloggers, who have been invited by CNMI to participate to Milano Moda Uomo.

 

In the city there are expected more than 10,000 operators of the sector, coming from all over the world, whose 450 media representatives, from 23 countries, accredited at Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana. Also for this edition CNMI will make available for accredited press and buyers the shuttle service, which for entire length of the event will guarantee a connection among the various locations of the shows. At the Fashion Hub accredited journalists and buyers will have at their disposal a VIP lounge and a press room, equipped with pc, telephone, internet connection and assistance, while the photographers will have a room with CANON equipment and a dedicated support staff.

 

Numerous prestigious cultural and fashion events will enliven the week, from the evening at Palazzo Reale dedicated to photographer Bob Krieger, to the cocktail for the presentation of the MILANO PORTFOLIO project, which will be held at Palazzo Giureconsulti.

 

Mario Boselli, President of CNMI, is very satisfied of the project dedicated to the young stylists: “The idea was born in 2010 with the aim of bringing fashion in the center of the city and now has established as a “must” from which we can no longer part, but we have found the way for further innovation and, at a time, when young people struggle to get noticed, Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana has decided to offer them spaces in the Fashion Hub, the beating heart and the nerve center of Milano Moda Uomo, downtown, a few steps from the Duomo, where representatives of the national and international press and buyers will gather. What better occasion for an upcoming stylist?”
