Milano Moda Spring Pre-Collections, event created and organized by Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, will take place in Milan from Friday May 27th trough Monday June 27th 2011. During this period the fashion houses will present in advance, in their show-rooms in Milan, the pre-collections, the styles and the trends that will characterize the spring/summer of 2012.
Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana has created and organized an organic calendar that offers the greatest visibility to the events relative to the selling campaign. This will permit buyers and operators to optimize their time and energy during the planning of the purchases, by taking advantage of the fashion houses present at the event.
The formal announcement of the pre-collection period by Camera della Moda Italiana and the preparation of a dedicated calendar proved to be an important strategic choice and its validity was acknowledged both by stylist and buyers.
So far this year edition calendar contains 38 clothing brands and 33 accessories brands. Besides the big brands like ETRO, GIORGIO ARMANI, MOSCHINO, ROBERTO CAVALLI, VERSACE, that participated in the last editions and that have confirmed, with enthusiasm, their presence also this year, many other names have asked to participate.
Among the new entries we can cite ALEXANDER MC QUEEN, KRIZIA POI, SCERVINO STREET, CLASS ROBERTO CAVALLI.
“The Pre-collection phenomena began in America with the exclusive collections of Cruise and during these years it has spread in Italy and has involved significantly the entire system. – says the president of Camera della Moda Italiana, Mario Boselli.”
“Activating and supporting these mechanisms, especially at a time when export is recovering, - explains Cav. Boselli – gives an extra boost to the market and allows for an increase in the flow of Italian and international buyers in Milan.”
Milano Moda Spring Pre-collection is one of the 9 events that Camera della Moda Nazionale Italiana organizes and co-ordinates in Milan during the entire year and is promoted through a significant marketing campaign on the most important Italian and international daily newspapers, on the websites of the sector and on the web site of CNMI www.cameramoda.it.
