Presentation of the new CameraModa.it
This morning took place the persentation of the new CameraModa.it, the official voice of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, whose Board of Directors had entrusted its member Carlo Capassa with the project to overhaul the website. Capassa, presented during a press conference by the President Cav. Lav. Boselli and by the Director Dott.ssa Giulia Pirovano, illustrated the project and presented the young team of “New Target Web” which followed the project and the development, along with the editorial staff headed by Giuliano Federico. A last generation technological platform guarantees an adequate performance to the consistent traffic of the website in particular during the fashion week. It will be furnished by a redundant and dedicated technical infrastructure, hosted in one of the most important data-center of the world, which guarantees continuous services both for the hardware and for the internet connection.
On the website it will be possible to follow in streaming the shows of Camera della Moda (thanks to the partnership with WiFi Solution), there will be a picture gallery and a video library with photos and clips of all the shows. Furthermore there will be a service called “my calendar” that allows users to save the interesting appointments of the fashion week and download them directly on their electronic agendas (smartphones, tablets, pc).
The contents and the services are many: an institutional area of news edited by CNMI, a reserved area, accessible with a password, for journalists and experts of the field, a résumé area for young designers, an archive with photos of the collections that participate to the CNMI events and, last, an editorial area which will host articles on trends, fashion shows and customs and events. The showrooms will have a dedicated area which will grant them great visibility in terms of communications and services, as a testimony of the attention that Camera della Moda dedicates to all its members.
As underlined by Cav. Lav. Boselli and Carlo Capassa, the Camera with this website aims to face the future fashion communication, shifting more and more on the online, with a strategic integrated project, able not only to highlight the activities that the Camera undertakes in favor of its members, but also evolve the same services towards appropriate solutions to the fast changes that media and markets are getting us used to.
Director Giulia Pirovano, during the presentation, emphasized the importance of making room for young people and new energies approaching this market: the website CameraModa.it has a big and dedicated area for young up and coming designers and the editorial staff of the site will be very strongly oriented in involving new fashion editors and bloggers.
The website CameraModa.it, in addition to an institutional approach, will also have an editorial one, thus guaranteeing a passionate and continuous story telling on Italian fashion, on the firms, the professionals, the creative people and the industrial system that make of the Made in Italy the most loved and desired brand in the world.
