Facetasm at Armani/Teatro

During the next Milan Men’s Fashion week, Giorgio Armani is hosting a show of Facetasm’s work at the Armani/Teatro. Armani’s initiative in support of young creativity thus reaches its ninth season, having already featured on the runway in via Bergognone the creations of Andrea Pompilio, Stella Jean, Christian Pellizzari, Julian Zigerli, Au Jour Le Jour, Angelos Bratis, Edmund Ooi and Vivetta.

Founded in 2007 by Hiromichi Ochiai, a graduate of Japan’s Bunka Fashion College, Facetasm mixes pop-culture inspiration with tailoring.

Founded in 2010 by fashion designer Vivetta Ponti, Vivetta is an Italian contemporary label projecting a femininity that’s delicate, fun, graceful yet assertive at the same time. Its key characteristics are the elegance of its uncluttered design and the surprise inclusion of certain bon-ton elements and other unexpected details, such as the profiles of faces and hands decorating the exquisite embroidery.

“I’m very happy to support the designers of the future, for the ninth season in a row. I love discovering new talents, maintaining an international point of view. I wish Facetasm, the designer chosen on this occasion, a brilliant and successful future.”, said Giorgio Armani.

“It is a great honor and a fantastic challenge for a small, independent team like ours to have a fashion show at Armani/Teatro. I’d like to thank Giorgio Armani for offering us this opportunity. We’re really looking forward to meeting the people of Milan, and hoping they will appreciate our originality”, said Hiromichi Ochiai.
