Armani/Home, East and West

The new Armani/Casa collection draws inspiration from an oriental prince, citizen of the world and lover of art and design. Its simple style and forms define a timeless elegance that reflects harmony between East and West as perceived by Giorgio Armani.

The collection of exclusive fabrics by Rubelli is characterized by the use of hand looms that revive certain weaving techniques and decorations evoking ancient Japanese armour. The furniture features sinuous and radial forms, the lamps embody the centuries old art of Murano’s glass makers, and the Justin desk celebrates the brand’s 40th anniversary with a limited edition of 40 numbered pieces for the occasion.

An exhibition at Armani/Teatro is showing for the very first time a number of projects developed over the last ten years by the Armani/Home Interior Design Studio in various parts of the world. An opportunity to present the stylistic, formal and material work, design process and methods that define the world of Armani/Home.
