Massimo Giorgetti is the new creative director at Emilio Pucci

Italian designer Massimo Giorgetti is the new creative director at Emilio Pucci. The announcement by the long-standing Florentine brand - set up in 1947 and now controlled by LVHM Group - comes the day after the appointment of Peter Dundas as creative director at Roberto Cavalli.

Entrepreneur and designer Massimo Giorgetti is one of the best known exponents of the new generation of Made in Italy talents, designers capable of asserting themselves on an international level with a contemporary style appreciated by the trade and rewarded by major commercial success. He will work between the Milan offices of the MSGM brand (launched in 2009 with Gruppo Paoloni) and Pucci’s prestige Renaissance headquarters in Florence.

A photo of two young people against the poetic and majestic backdrop of Florence was chosen by the designer for his declaration of intent: a white T-shirt representing a new story to be told.
