The Fashion Star Honoree Award 2014 goes to Brunello Cucinelli

Last week in New York, Brunello Cucinelli received the prestigious “Fashion Star Honoree Award 2014” by Fashion Group International.

The ceremony, whose theme was “The Protagonists”, took place at the unique Cipriani Wall Street restaurant and was attended by 500 illustrious guests, among them leading personalities of the American fashion system, outstanding journalists and New York socialites. The award, that has reached its 31^st edition, has become an institution for fashion, beauty, architecture and entertainment in America.

The award was introduced by Richard Story, influential journalist of international renown and Chief Editor of “Departures Magazine”, who has been among the first to write about Brunello Cucinelli. The journalist celebrated the brilliant Italian entrepreneur, who is famous in the world for his cashmere collections, and emphasized his great success in building a business whose goal is "the moral and economic dignity" of the human being at work; hence the expression "humanistic capitalism" that is so dear to him.
